Interpretation
In these terms of sale, “we” means colper.lk (and “us” and “our” will be construed accordingly); and “you” means our customer or potential customer for products (and “your” will be construed accordingly).
(2) Online Ordering
Once an order has been placed we will confirm that your order has been received by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address you provide during your registration. This does not constitute acceptance of your order, nor does it guarantee that all items are available at the prices shown in the confirmation. However, in the event of there being any discrepancy in price, or should any product be no longer available we will telephone you, or send you an e-mail to explain the position and to ask for your instructions. We will not vary your order without your agreement.
(3) The products
Not all of our products are available to buy on-line. Products that have been selected to be sold on line can be added to the shopping cart. Some items can be purchased in-store only.
(4) Confirmation of Order
Once the payment has been made you will received an email confirming the item you have purchased
Non-acceptance of an order may be as a result of one of the following:
- The product you ordered is unavailable. (Please note we operate a real-time stock control system and only show products as available to order where we believe we have stock, but occasionally mistakes can be made, or stock damaged so that our actual stock count is incorrect).
- We have identified that a product has been mispriced in error or is incorrectly described
- One of our payment systems has identified the transaction as suspicious or payment authorisation is incomplete.
(5) Price Information
Colper.lk has taken great care to ensure prices are accurate. Prices may change over time and all prices include VAT where appropriate However, all Prices may change without prior notice.
Accuracy, Completeness Of Information & Product Availability
Product Descriptions & Images- We try our best to show accurate information to our customers when it comes to product Specifications, Prices, Discounts, Images and Availability.
However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, specifications or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price. We shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your already made the payment we will issue a refund in the amount of the charge. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
We also have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the e-store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any color will be accurate.

MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE AND PRICES
- Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
- We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service without notice at any time.
- We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
- All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.
(6) Cancellation of an Order
- You may cancel your order any time before the order is processed. Once the order is shipped, you will receive, via email, a shipping confirmation that contains tracking information. Once a product is shipped, the Return Policy will apply.
- Note: colper.lk may cancel orders for any reason. Some common situations in which orders are cancelled may include: The item is out of stock and there are no plans of restocking it, pricing errors or credit card payment is declined by the issuing financial institution
(7) DELIVERY
- Delivery will only be given to the shipping address provided by you. It is your responsibility to ensure that it is possible to ship to the address during normal working hours.
- It is your obligation to enter the correct delivery address details at the time of ordering. If you enter the wrong address, we are not obliged to re-send the order to the correct address at our expense.
Delivery Time
- All the orders are usually dispatch on the next working day, and will be delivered within 2-5 working days, however it may take longer. If the product is out of stock, delivery may takes longer.
- .All deliveries are handled by third party courier services, so we are unable to provide exact times, and may not be able to arrange delivery on specific time.
ORDERS PLACED ON SATURDAY & SUNDAY
- ALL orders placed after 3pm on Friday and at any time of day on Saturday and Sunday will be processed on the following Monday.
- We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays or Public holidays
OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
Despite our best intentions, sometimes the website will enable you to order a product that is out of stock. When this occurs, we will contact you to see if you would like us to place an order with the supplier or try to find a substitute item for you. If we cannot find a solution for you, we will happily organise a refund. We cannot reorder products that are clearance or discontinued items.
(8) RETURN POLICY
Products purchased from colper.lk cannot be returned unless there is a fault or damage occur to the product during the delivery or there is a manufacture defect in the product.
When you receive the product that was bought and paid through colper.lk, and you find it is a faulty or the product is physically damaged / broken upon delivery, please call our customer care within 24 hours with the order ID in your hand.(email support@colper.lk) We will arrange a replacement or refund in full.
We do not accept “change of mind” exchanges or refunds for items purchased on colper.lk
(9) Refunds
If you return a product due to a manufacturing defect any sum debited by us to your credit/debit card will be refunded in full. We will notify you of your refund via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase. We will usually process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 14 days. The refunds which we process via the Credit card Internet Payment Gateway will take up to 2 weeks at bank’s end to be processed and will be reflected in your card statement.
(10) Warranty
6 months Warranty For Telescopes Microscopes & Binoculars
All Telescope Microscope & Binocular models purchased from colper.lk are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase. If a manufacturing defect is found, we will be happy to repair or replace your product.
A manufacturing defect is defined as any fault in the product’s materials or workmanship, which is present at time of receipt.
The following conditions are not classed as manufacturing defects, and will not be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty:
- Accidental damage
- Normal wear and tear
- General product misuse/abuse
- Any product not used or maintained in accordance with the Care & Use Instructions
Before any replacement can be given, we may require you to return the faulty product for inspection. As there are occasions where it may not be necessary to send the product back, please contact us before returning any items. In many cases, we may simply ask for photographs of the faulty product.
All Other items purchased from Colper.lk comes with a 7 Day Checking Warranty
Colper 7 Days Checking & Replacement Warranty
Our 7-days Checking and Replacement Warranty is a service we created in order to provide you with complete peace of mind. You have 7 days, to check your product for any unlikely operational or internal issues. However, If the product is physically damaged or broken upon delivery, you should immediately notify us within 24 hours via email at support@colper.lk or call at 070 389 7203 so that we can replace your product.
In case you find one, give us a call or email us. We’ll verify your claim and replace the product for you right away.
colper replacement policy is valid for 2 situations/circumstances:
- In case you are delivered the wrong product.
- In case the product delivered to you has some defect or issue.
However, to complete replacement of your product, the product should be:
- Undamaged, unused and in the condition in which it was received
- The parcel contains its original product packaging, manufacturer’s containers, manuals, and all accessories that came in or attached to the product when ordered.
